The Liptov Orient Festival 2012 competition in oriental dance took place over the past weekend. Students of Studio Mafra and of Zaghareet took part in the event. The girls competed in several categories eith great success. The results:
- first place in the group amateurs folklore category with Melaya Leff /choreography by Zaghareet/ and spoons /choreography by Zaghareet and Marfa/
- second place in the group amateurs fusion category with Samba /choreography by Studio Mafra/
- third place in the solo advanced amateur folklore category with double cane: Majka Jančiarová /choreography by Zaghareet/
- second place in the solo amateur fusion category: Jarka Gábrišová /own choreography/
Zaghareet also tailored choreographies for girls outside of Studio Mafra, who have been competing in the solo professional classics category, with one of them successfully making it through to the finals. Another member of Studio Mafra competed with Zaghareets choreography in the solo advanced amateur classics category. I congratulate all the girls for taking part in the event and I wish them a lot of success in dance and elsewhere :*!!
